Grow the Game FA funding helped set the club up and has been central to helping us achieve the following in our first year of operating:

*Engaged 63 women in football, at least once a week, at varying abilities and ages.
*Finished third in the division in our first season, with us promoted a division.
*Formed a Sport England funded Satellite Club to create a development programme for women within the club to start as beginners and potentially progress into our first team.
*Engaged a sports psychologist volunteer from the University of Sheffield to provide an extra dimension of support for the team.
*Funded 3 FA Level 1 coaching courses, enhancing the sustainability of the organisation with key personal now trained with relevant qualifications.
*Engaged one student through a Sheffield Hallam University Venture Matrix programme providing her work experience alongside assistance with completing her university module; Charlotte is also now on our Board of Directors whilst playing for the club.
*We have incorporated into a social enterprise providing more funding opportunities, professionalism and sustainability.
*Created a 5-a-side team for the development side and beginners to get experience in competitive football, especially for those wanting to progress to 11-a-side.
*Provided a volunteer coach regular paid work at the club in charge of our development programme.
*Very successful branding and marketing ensuring wide engagement of a broad range of players, groups and organisations alongside a strong social media presence especially when compared to other clubs in the area.
*Plans to create another 11-a-side women’s football team, for our development players, for next season.
